I just read chapter 6 of The Destruction Of Pompeii AD 79! I am the quote collector! 

One quote I found was on page 31, paragraph 2. The quote was The music had stopped and the lanista was unlocking the gate of the gladiator barracks. I picked this quote because, I could not imagine going in a cave and fighting wild animals, while having all eyes on me.

On page 27 paragraph 1 of the book was another quote I liked. The quote was, Marcus went to the fountain and splashed cool water on his face. I like this quote because I like the fresh water feeling on my face. Thanks for reading!

Hi! today my job is creative connector. Marcus lost his balance and fell, smacking his head on a stone curb. It reminded me of when I sled head-first and crashed.

Marcus buried his face in Tatas (his dad) chest, breathing in his familiar smell. This sentence was like when my grandma just came from Mexico and I hugged her really hard.

Hello today I read chapter 5 on the Japanese tsunami 2011 and I picked the job Creative Connector. 

My first connection is when Ben and Harry and Nye, the cat, hid under the bed so the ceiling would not fall on them. My text-to-self connection was that sometimes when I play hide and seek I hide under the bed.

My second connection is that when the cat was frozen of fright my text-to-world was that I saw a TV show where a person was frozen of shock because of a bad word they thought they heard.

First, Ben woke up from a bad dream sweating. Next, Ben's little brother, Harry, asked if Ben had a bad dream and Ben said ¨No¨.
